The function of the exhaust turbocharger is to increase the engine power. After the damage, the intake air is insufficient, the combustion chamber pressure is low, and the diesel combustion is incomplete, resulting in the decrease of the engine crankshaft speed and the weakening of the output force.

The rotating force of the crankshaft is transmitted to the flywheel, which is connected with the elastic plate and cover wheel of the torque converter, and the cover wheel is connected with the pump wheel and transfer gear. The transfer gear controls the drive shaft of the steering pump, the hydraulic pump and the variable speed pump, so the damage of the supercharger will affect the power of the whole machine.

Its structure is very simple, but its design is very precise. The exhaust gas from the engine enters the two holes of the green circle, which drives the turbine blade with yellow circle to rotate, and drives the compressor blade with purple circle to rotate at high speed. They share a shaft, and the supercharger starts to work.

The high-speed rotating compressor presses the air after the filter element into the intake pipe. When the intake valve is opened, the intake volume in the combustion chamber increases, and the diesel atomized by the injector burns more completely, thus improving the engine power.

Remove the fixed bolt 10 wrench from the compressor housing and knock it open with a small hammer. After knocking, you can see the compressor impeller and orange O-ring. The turbine housing fixing bolt 13 wrench is easy to bite due to the high temperature exhaust gas that makes it hot and rusty after cooling.

Turbocharger turbine blades rotate at high speed, and oil is required to lubricate the internal bearings to extend the service life.

The oil enters the upper hole from the engine pressure pipe joint, lubricates the internal floating bearing and shaft, and then returns to the oil pan from the lower hole. When installing a new supercharger, the oil inlet hole must be filled with oil.
